All of the LabPlant Refrigerated Immersion Probes are simple to use, with each unit available as controlled or uncontrolled.
1. The Immersion Probe is immersed in a suitable liquid I.E. Methanol, Ethanol, or Trichloroethylene in a Dewar Vessel or other well-insulated liquid container before switching the refrigeration system on.
2. When using PID Controller versions, the PT100 sensor is immersed and the controller is set to the required temperature.
3. The liquid must be stirred with all units to achieve optimum temperature stability
